Authority tables cart-barn contract while seeking clarity on rock-drilling costs

The Tokyo Municipal Golf Authority reviewed three bids to purchase and install a new cart barn but tabled a decision until bidders provide more detail about potential rock-drilling costs and site conditions. Trustees said the lowest bid—identified in the meeting as Nick Watson's—appeared to be at or near the available insurance coverage. "Nick Watson was the smallest bid, the $46.05," a trustee reported.
