Holly Backus, the town’s preservation planner, said staff had not received the applicant’s materials yet. Carr said the commission typically prefers to review a draft application before finalizing a letter of support. The commission agreed to reach out to the applicant and prepare a letter after reviewing the draft application.
No funding decision was made by the commission; the vote authorized staff to prepare a letter once staff receives and the commissioners review the draft application.
