Probation revoked for Dedrick Davis; court imposes 12-month state-jail sentence

Under the agreement presented in court, the judge reassessed Davis’ punishment and imposed a 12-month term in the state jail, with credit for any time previously served. The court provided the litigant with the trial-court certification documenting that an agreement was followed and that the defendant waived appeal rights consistent with that certification.
The judge reiterated that Davis had been informed previously of his firearm-ineligibility admonishment and advised him to read the written admonition. The court returned Davis to custody following sentencing and directed defense counsel to handle filings for post-sentencing matters.
