The Scottsburg Board of Public Works and Safety voted July 9 to transfer a trailer from the broadband department's asset list to the electric department. Mayor Raynett explained that the electric department needs the trailer and the city will reclassify the asset from broadband to electric. Clerk Treasurer Jan Hardy confirmed the transfer involves no exchange of funds. A board member moved to approve the transfer and a second was recorded; members voted aye and the motion carried. The board recorded the transfer as an internal asset reclassification; no budget amendment or purchase was authorized at the meeting.
