Pataskala council adopts rezoning for 6500 Taylor Road

The Pataskala City Council voted to adopt Ordinance 2025-4495, rezoning a 0.72-acre parcel at 6500 Taylor Road from M-1 (light manufacturing) to PRO (professional research office). Council considered the ordinance at its third reading and moved to adopt. The motion to adopt was made on the record and seconded by Councilmember Lee. A roll call recorded affirmative votes by Councilmember Walter Epperson, Councilmember Coleman, Councilmember Hamshire, Councilmember Lee and Councilmember Hayes; the ordinance passed. The ordinance text on the meeting agenda identified the parcel as 063-142002-01.001 and described the zoning change as from the "life manufacturing M-1 zoning classification" to the professional research office PRO classification. No additional conditions or amendments were read into the record during the vote. No members of the public spoke on the rezoning during the portion of the meeting when the ordinance was read and adopted.
