At the July 21 meeting the Hapra Horsham School District Board recorded three retirements and approved routine Human Resources action items. The retirements announced on the record were Lynn Doan, Office Assistant Simmons (27 years of service); Patricia Dupree, CDL bus driver in transportation (25 years of service); and Matthew Taylor, job coach at the high school (24 years of service). The transcript lists these retirements during the Human Resources report.
The board also welcomed several new staff members who will join the district for the upcoming year. On the record, the board welcomed Jessica Biddle, an elementary teacher joining from the Norristown School District, and Patrick Scarpello, hired as the high school athletic and activities director from the New Hope-Solebury School District. The board thanked the new hires and expressed anticipation for their start supporting students.
The HR package and appointments were approved as part of item 8A. David Brown moved approval and DJ Schultz seconded; the board approved the human resources items by voice vote with no recorded opposition.
