Jeremy Grenard, city engineer, said the meeting included nine certificate-of-completion items for projects that had reached final completion and passed inspections. The board approved certificates of completion for work by Dixon Construction on multiple concrete projects (small concrete projects; Sherwood Drive; Sarasota Drive curb; Hagerty Lane and Veterans Memorial Parkway intersection curb; South Fourth Street; Roaming Street) and for Dixon Construction on the 2024 Tecumseh addition CDBG project; Poorboys Concrete for the North Tenth Street and Elizabeth Street traffic-calming circle; and Promise Land Construction and Landscaping for the Sawmill Run subdivision concrete project. Grenard stated that the one-year warranty periods for these projects began on various dates between July 1, 2024, and January 1, 2025.
Jeremy Diaz of the Controller’s office reported the claims package totaling $15,484,638.51; the board approved the claims. Scott Galloway, police chief, presented a taxi permit for Lester Chaney and said a background investigation had been completed; the board approved the permit. The item listed as “water works” was tabled for a future meeting. The board adjourned to an Animal Control Lehi hearing after approving adjournment of the Board of Works session.
