Controller Megan Moore told the Hammond Capital Improvement Board on June 16, 2025, that the board had about $122,000 in proposed allocations on the agenda and about $497,000 unallocated in its capital-improvement fund.
Moore said the $122,000 figure reflects the allocations before the board that evening and that the unallocated amount “leaves us with about $497,000 unallocated.” She added that the board expects an allocation from the city's June gaming distribution in July that will be reflected in the next quarterly budget report.
The update was presented at the start of new business and followed routine approvals. Moore said the figure did not yet include accounts receivable such as grants or matching funds. The board did not take further action on the balance at the meeting; voting that evening addressed individual funding requests brought forward from staff.
