The board was informed on April 24 that the city has contracted two professional fireworks displays with Mad Bomber for summer events.

Per correspondence from the board authority director, the first show is scheduled for July 3, 2025, starting at approximately 10 p.m. as part of the city’s July 4th observance, and a second show is scheduled for July 12, 2025 (Marina Venetian Day and night festivities), also at approximately 10 p.m. The board corrected an earlier typographical year on the agenda from 2023 to 2025 during the presentation. The board moved and approved the correspondence item with a voice vote.
