The ATSI high-school plan (agenda item 10.01) was presented by administration and approved without discussion. The field trip (agenda item 10.02) was described by administration as involving 33 students attending the DCI Eastern Classic in Allentown, with one bus and multiple chaperones; tickets were paid for and the board approved the trip.
Personnel items were taken as a block. Administration explained that mentor stipends vary by participation and timing: a staff member reported that the district now requires a two‑year new‑teacher mentoring program per PDE and that stipends are paid during that period. In the meeting a staff speaker stated amounts of “about $650 for the new teacher and $1,350 for the mentor” per year; one mentor stipend was listed at a half stipend because the mentor began mid‑year. The board approved the list of new teacher and mentor stipends, retirements (including a retirement recognized in the meeting), transfers, summer employment, and employments as presented.
The board also reapproved the 2025–26 JROTC agreement; a board member said the reapproval followed receipt of a modified salary adjustment from the Air Force and that the state reimburses half the cost. The board approved all items by motion and voice vote; most personnel items were approved without further discussion or roll-call votes.
