Walworth County board confirms several committee and board appointments

The Walworth County Board of Supervisors on June 10 confirmed appointments to a set of county boards and committees recommended by the executive committee.
Appointments announced and confirmed include Stephen J. Algren and David L. Custer to three-year terms on the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) governing board, with terms to end June 30, 2028; Linda Zell to a three-year term on the Delavan-Darien Public Library Board of Trustees to end April 30, 2028; Michael Bergman to a two-year term on the Land Conservation Committee to end June 10, 2027; and Connie Nolan to the Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) with terms to renew annually on Sept. 30.
Each nomination was presented as recommended by the executive committee and placed on the consent calendar. A motion to approve the slate was made and seconded, and the board voted by voice to carry the motion.
Board members did not record additional debate on the appointments during the June 10 meeting. The new members will assume the roles and terms specified in the announcements; staff will complete any onboarding and notification steps required by the respective boards.
