Depoe Bay preparedness committee inventories caches, flags storage and dehumidifier problems

Depoe Bay's Emergency Preparedness Committee met July 14 to review emergency cache supplies, storage conditions and spending for the citizen-run cache network that the city and volunteer groups maintain.

The committee discussed two Connex shipping containers and a rented storage unit that currently hold most of the town's emergency supplies. Karen, committee member, said volunteers have been inventorying items and separating supplies by protocol so each cache pod will be deployable. She reported that some recent deliveries remain in transit and that the committee's supply list is being compiled.
