Residents ask council to fund $10,000 sign for Claire Seacole Hornsby Lions Club Park

Menardy told the council she and the Lions Club preferred a masonry wall sign with city and Lions Club seals and said the board had passed a resolution requesting the same $10,000 be included in the city's budget. Council members acknowledged the request and the clerk entered the printed resolution into the meeting record. No formal action or vote was taken during the meeting; the request was placed before staff and council for consideration in the budget process.
