The Olive Branch Board of Aldermen voted to table consideration of bids for Fire Station No. 6 as staff completes bid reviews.

City staff told the board that the bid packages for Fire Station No. 6 are substantial and require additional time for evaluation. The item had been tabled previously (June 17) and the board set a new tentative date of July 15 to reconvene the review and consider award recommendations.

A motion to table the item carried on a voice vote. Staff said the additional review time will allow thorough evaluation of the competitive submissions and ensure the board receives a complete recommendation for contract award at the next meeting.
