Mayor Horn announces interim leadership team; council to consider confirmations

The mayor said more permanent selections will be made and that some interim appointees will require council confirmation.
Council members broadly welcomed the announcements. Some said they planned to support many appointments but noted they would review individual personnel matters as confirmation items arrive. Councilman Stokes said he would discuss staffing levels and budget priorities with the mayor, and Councilman Hartley emphasized unity, trust and prompt action from the administration.
No formal confirmations were performed at the July 8 meeting; the mayor said confirmation items would be presented later for council consideration.
