The McLeod County Board on July 15 reappointed Kevin Miller to the High Island Watershed District Board of Managers for a three‑year term beginning Sept. 1, 2025 and expiring Aug. 31, 2028. County administration said the opening was advertised in the McLeod County Chronicle and that letters of interest were due June 27. County Administrator Sheila and Commissioner Wright met with Miller on July 8 as part of the interview process; staff recommended reappointment based on Miller’s prior service and knowledge of the watershed district’s operations. Commissioner Wright moved to reappoint Kevin Miller; Commissioner Laurie Schotzka seconded. Commissioners praised Miller’s experience and work ethic before voting and the motion carried.
