Radcliffe City Council voted unanimously July 7 to reappoint Sue Glacken to the Hardee County Board of Ethics. The reappointment was offered during a special called meeting at Radcliffe City Hall and approved by roll call.
The council recommended reappointing Sue Glacken to fill an expired term through June 30, 2028. “She’s been a long time resident of our community, and she recently retired from Hardin County Schools,” the mayor said when presenting the recommendation. After a motion and a second, the council conducted a roll-call vote. Councilman Brown, Roach, Murrow and Owens recorded “yes” votes; the motion carried. The council noted the appointment will be reflected in city records and discussed further in the work session.
The reappointment was announced alongside a planned revision to the city’s ethics ordinance intended to align Radcliffe’s rules with neighboring jurisdictions; that ordinance revision will appear on a future meeting agenda for further consideration.
