Board renews athletic trainer, beverage and multiple software/service agreements for 2025–26 and beyond

The board approved renewal of athletic trainer services with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation’s Sports Medicine through July 1, 2030, per the agenda packet. The board also approved an exclusive beverage-provider agreement with Pepsi Beverages Company to provide beverage services districtwide and for support groups from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2030.
The board adopted an online learning day plan for the 2025–26 school year to allow the district to use online instruction to make up missed days due to closures; the plan authorizes online learning for up to three additional school days when closures would otherwise cause the district to exceed allowable minutes.
Other approved renewals and annual licenses included phone-system support with Business Communication Specialists ($18,621 for 2025–26); Amplify M-Class dyslexia screening ($11,232); an ECLA agreement tied to Senate Bill 29 ($1,000); an IXL site license for grades 2–8 ($33,150); MAP testing licenses from NWEA for grades 2–5 (listed in the packet at $15,950); and RAS Plus and RAS Plus ELL reading intervention licenses ($13,940) with Title I and Title III cost splits as noted in the agenda.
The agreements were presented as consent or new-business items; backup quotes and contracts were provided to the board under separate cover.
