Oklahoma County commissioners voted to approve a renewal of a memorandum of understanding with the county courts that allocates a portion of court fund dollars for fiscal year 2026.
Judge Ogden told the commissioners the MOU covers distribution of approximately $778,000 to $779,000 received from the Administrative Office of the Courts. He described the agreement as a continuation of a prior arrangement that specifies allocations under items a, b and c on page 2 of the MOU.
Judge Ogden asked the board to approve the MOU for FY26 and responded to commissioners’ questions before the board moved and approved the item.
The judge said he was available to answer questions; the board then voted to approve the MOU. No amendments or alternate allocations were recorded in the meeting.
The MOU was described in the meeting as an existing three‑year arrangement between the commissioners and the courts to dedicate portions of court-related funds for specified purposes. Commissioners approved the MOU renewal for FY26 by voice vote.
