Design Review Board approves OmniMedSpa sign; Omni in subway green, "MedSpa" in white on existing background

The City of Alpharetta Design Review Board approved a building sign for OmniMedSpa at 11760 Haines Bridal Road (Suite A) during its July 18, 2025 public hearing. The board voted 6-0 to permit the applicant to use the existing recessed sign background (the former Morgan & Morgan background) and to install halo-lit letters with “Omni” in subway green and “MedSpa” in white; all letters will be the same height. Dejes Patel, founder and medical director of OmniMedSpa, said the proposed tenant will occupy Suite A and sought clarity about color and layout. Patel described the Jacksonville prototype logo but told the board he would adapt the mark to fit the existing background at the Alpharetta location. Staff noted the existing sign backing in that tenant bay is approximately 30 inches in depth—similar to other tenants in that center—and recommended a proportionate use of the panel so the new sign would be consistent with adjacent storefronts. Board members discussed color contrast and night-time halo illumination; they advised using the black/grey inset panel to hide wiring and mounting and to favor the subway green/white color pairing for daytime and night-time legibility. A motion by J. Swing, seconded by R. Lacane, to approve the sign as described passed 6-0. The board recorded no public opposition.
