Citizen Environmental Advisory Committee meeting adjourned after no members arrived

The Citizen Environmental Advisory Committee called its scheduled meeting to order at 12:11 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 619 Reynolds in Laredo and adjourned at 12:27 p.m. after no members arrived, a committee staff member said. Alejandro Verales, a staff member present at the room, opened the session and stated the meeting time and location. Verales said, "At the present moment, there's nobody here at the meeting. We will wait until everybody arrives. It is now 12:27PM. Nobody arrived to the meeting. There is no quorum." He then announced, "So this meeting will not take effect. Meeting adjourned." The committee did not consider any agenda items or take formal actions because a quorum was not present. No future meeting date or rescheduling information was announced during the brief session.
