The Planning and Zoning Commission approved a revision to the Embarcadero Southeast Quadrant master plan to further subdivide lots in phases 6, 8 and 9, and approved the related preliminary plats subject to staff comments.
Civil engineer Arturo Camacho, representing the applicant, told the commission the amendment is intended to define lots within phases 6, 8 and 9 and requested a record comment that the final lot and block numbers shown on the master plan will be adjusted to match the numbering produced through the city’s one‑stop‑shop final plat process. Camacho said the applicants had no issues with the staff comments and expected to provide revised sequencing and numbering in subsequent submittals.
Staff confirmed the applicant must submit the requested revisions and noted the master plan and preliminary plat approvals are contingent on satisfying staff comments. Commissioners moved and approved the master plan amendment and the preliminary plats for phases 6, 8 and 9 with a standard condition to address staff comments and final plat numbering.
The approvals were recorded as motions “to approve subject to staff comments.” The planning department indicated it will track the sequencing of lot and block numbers to coincide with final plat filing through the one‑stop‑shop process before final plat approval.
