Finance staff presented the district’s May 2025 financial reports and recommended their approval. The board voted to approve the statement of revenues and expenditures, combined balance sheet, cash flow statement and certification of bank reconciliations.
The reports show general fund revenue collections through May at $349,306,337, which staff said is about 4% higher than FY 2024 collections of $334,530,951. Revenues for all funds were reported as $399,911,062, also described as 4% higher than FY 2024. General fund expenditures through May were reported in the packet as approximately $281,000,009.46 and staff said expenditures were running about 6% over FY 2024. Combined fund balance for general funds was reported at $224,546,857, described as 13% higher than the FY 2024 balance of $198,539,314.
Staff also reported district cash balances and reconciliations: a district maintenance cash balance as of May 31 and an all‑funds cash balance reported in the packet. Finance staff certified that all bank statements had been reconciled with no exceptions and recommended approval.
Board members moved and seconded the motions and approved the financial statements on voice votes; no roll‑call tallies were recorded in the transcript. The approvals were recorded as routine business approvals and will be included in the district’s official financial records.
