Monroe County commissioners approved a $510,000 contract with Butler, Fairman & Seifert, Inc. for construction inspection services on the Eagleson Boulevard project, listed on the agenda as agreement number 922.
Engineering staff said the county followed INDOT procurement procedures, posting the request for proposals May 5 and receiving 10 proposals. Three reviewers scored the submissions and INDOT approved Butler, Fairman & Seifert as the top-ranked firm. Staff noted that the phase of the project covered by this contract is reimbursable within the grant at a stated rate of $80.20.
