Odyssey Fun World to mark 30th anniversary with free community events and discounted wristbands

Odyssey Fun World, at 19111 Oak Park Avenue in Tinley Park, will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a series of community events starting next Thursday and culminating in a free public celebration Saturday, July 26, that will include a fireworks display, staff said during the July 15 Village Board meeting.
Clint Paradigm, manager of Odyssey Fun World, told trustees the attractions will feature DJs, activities for children such as balloon artists and face painting, and free daytime offerings. During the anniversary weekend the park will sell an attractions wristband for $15; throughout August Tinley Park residents presenting ID may purchase a wristband usually priced at $30 for $10, Paradigm said.
Why it matters: the events are billed as community‑oriented, and staff said the promotions are intended to reintroduce the facility to local residents. The park has operated in Tinley Park since 1994.
Paradigm said the venue is hosting a multi‑chamber event inviting chambers from Tinley Park, Orland Park, Frankfort, Mokena and New Lenox. Trustees thanked the manager and wished the business well in its anniversary year.
No formal board action was required; the business spotlight was an informational presentation.
