Assistant superintendent flags inaccuracies in monthly financial report; staff to review

Assistant Superintendent Tina told the RSU 22 School Board she did not believe the district’s monthly financial report reflected accurate percentages for certain categories and asked staff to review the report. She specifically named system administration and school administration line items as likely misreported and said the report covered only a couple weeks into the fiscal year, which may explain the anomalies.
Tina asked business staff (Chris) to examine the packet and said she expected corrected figures to be circulated by email. “I don't wanna spend much time on this because I do not believe it's fully accurate,” she said. The board accepted that staff would review and reissue the financial report.
Staff indicated they would follow up and send corrected information to board members once the review was complete.
