Vice President Sharon Middleton and Comptroller Bill Henry both praised the leadership that advanced the project and noted the library will provide neighborhood programming and learning opportunities. The board also recognized Park Heights Renaissance representatives who were present to support the project.
The library funding was adopted as part of the routine agenda earlier in the meeting; board members took a point of personal privilege to thank the administration, the Enoch Pratt Free Library and community partners for bringing the project to construction-ready status.
