The Kenosha County Board unanimously adopted Ordinance 31, an amendment to the text of the Kenosha County General Zoning and Shoreland‑Floodplain Zoning Ordinance to revise references to official maps and to incorporate a FEMA‑approved Letter of Map Revision for the South Branch of the Pike River. Supervisor Brown said the flood map for the South Branch of the Pike River was revised and approved by FEMA and needs to take effect on July 25, 2025; the Planning, Development and Extension Education Committee had approved the ordinance unanimously. No additional amendments or conditions were added during second reading. The ordinance passed on a unanimous voice vote.
