The Kenosha County Board unanimously approved Resolution 127 to authorize and provide for issuance of not‑to‑exceed $21,410,000 in general obligation promissory notes to fund projects adopted in the 2025 budget. Supervisor Gentz, who introduced the resolution, said the board previously approved enabling budget resolutions and that the upcoming sale is scheduled for Aug. 19, at which time a follow‑up resolution will authorize the sale. Gentz noted the debt issue will be ten‑year notes rather than longer maturities. The Finance Department personnel were present to answer questions; the board approved the resolution unanimously with no amendments recorded in the meeting minutes.
