Battle Born veteran shares recovery story in council human services presentation

Rinaldi said in the recording: “If it wasn't for Team Battle Born ... they saved my life,” and urged veterans who need help to call the organization. Chris told the council that Battle Born offers peer events and a peer-to-peer program that helped Rinaldi find a community and support.
Council members acknowledged the presentation during committee reports and noted the video had been shown earlier to the human services committee. No formal council action was requested or taken on the record following the presentation.
