Town staff and council members reiterated the procedural timeline for recall certification and said procedural questions about when certified results were presented to the clerk had been discussed with county staff. The council emphasized it will follow statutory procedures for any election steps.
No formal council action was taken during open time; staff confirmed the certified recall packets have been received and that council action on the recall questions is scheduled for the council’s August meeting.
