City staff handed council members a document on May 19 listing about $350,000 in proposed capital improvements for three municipal facilities, saying the packet represents an exhaustive wish list that will be prioritized and trimmed.
A staff speaker said the front page divides the program across Eastern Avenue and the Carrie and Donner Drive facilities and that green‑highlighted items could be done in‑house. Items already expended from the $350,000 pool were struck out on the list. Commissioner Prentice has been involved in the planning and staff said he will present prioritized recommendations at the council’s next meeting.
One council member cautioned residents not to view the document as a final work order: “This is the absolute wish list. So don't read this list and get scared. This will be cut back and it will be modified,” the member said.
Ending: Staff asked councilors to review the document and prepare for a prioritized recommendation at the next meeting; no appropriation or binding decision was made on May 19.
