The presenter also reported the district’s Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) grant allocation for fiscal year 2025–26 will be $15,197 less than the prior year; the presenter said the funds are used for tuition payments for out-of-district students. Finally, the presenter said the board-authorized price for school lunches will remain the same as the 2024–25 school year; no increase was proposed.
Board members had no follow-up motions on these items at the meeting. Committee members later discussed scheduling a finance and facilities committee meeting to review items pending further detail from staff.
