County continues information-gathering for juvenile-facilities capital plan; board to consider tours and follow-up

One commissioner said: "I'd like to have some time to spend and sit with them and make sure we're all on the same page," and commissioners indicated interest in a site tour. Staff proposed providing a high-level information packet and then convening for discussion, and offered to schedule a tour of the juvenile facility so commissioners can "just walk through it." No formal decisions were made at the meeting; staff will return with more detailed material and will coordinate commissioner briefings and a tour if requested.
