"Their mission statement is to improve access to and the effectiveness of community services through collaboration, coordination, and integration," Lin South said.
Lin South said CRC has been physically located in the CSC Building alongside county Health and Human Services "for the last 5 years with some breaks, when they did work remotely during COVID." She described the lease as formalizing the space so CRC will have the "rights and responsibilities of a formal tenant," and said the colocation supports coordination on public-benefit and medical-assistance eligibility work.
Commissioner Sumner moved to approve the lease; Commissioner Winger seconded. The motion carried 5-0.
