Jordan, identified in the meeting as the Beehive owner, told commissioners the bar sits on the Trail County line but the north side of the road is in Grand Forks County. Jordan said the requested closure runs from noon to 3 a.m. to allow for setup and teardown, and that the City of Reynolds, the Trail County commissioners and the Trail County sheriff had approved the event on their side of the county line.
Jordan said the event organizers had arranged detour signage with the Trail County Highway Department and planned to hire deputies from the Grand Forks sheriff’s office for security. The commission moved, seconded and approved the permit; the clerk recorded the vote as unanimous.
The commission recorded no special conditions in the minutes beyond the applicant’s stated coordination with city and county law enforcement and highway staff.
