One commissioner said they had outstanding questions for an engineer named Mark and did not want approval of the resolution to be read as approval of detailed design features. The resolution was presented as a way to keep mitigation and cleanup work moving while design and ancillary elements are resolved. A motion to authorize the commission to support the supplemental agreement and to permit the commission president to sign related documents passed by voice vote. Staff said removal and cleanup work must proceed before additional site improvements can begin. Commissioners directed staff to continue tracking outstanding design questions and to report back if the agreement’s scope shifts beyond remediation.
