Deedham — The Deedham Conservation Commission on July 10 approved a partial certificate of compliance for 23 Glover Road while leaving an existing two-year restoration monitoring requirement in place.
Karen Catrone, staff member, said the project dates to February 2014 and involved an addition. She told the commission that the restoration area — a 240-square-foot plot — had been planted with five highbush blueberry plants and a native seed mix, and that the work now satisfied the immediate planting requirement. “They just installed five highbush blueberry and a native seed mix in a 240 square foot restoration area,” Catrone said.
Commission members voted to issue a partial certificate that documents the completed plantings while reserving the final certificate pending completion of the required two-year monitoring of the restoration area. The roll-call vote recorded Reid, Bill, Fred, Clary, Molina and Chair Dave Harrer as voting “aye.”
The partial certificate allows the property owner to document completion of the planting obligation but preserves staff’s authority to confirm the restoration’s success after the monitoring period ends. No funding or enforcement actions were discussed in connection with this item.
The commission’s action was taken during routine business; no public comment on the item was recorded.
