Boynton Beach library celebrates adult graduate of Career Online High School program

Jeannie Taylor, director of the Boynton Beach Public Library, told the commission on July 15 that the library's Career Online High School program celebrated a graduate, Juana Pedro, who completed a high-school diploma and received a certificate in office management.
Taylor said the program is available to city residents 19 and older who hold a Boynton Beach library card and that the library has supported approximately 30 graduates to date. "Once they get a high school diploma, they can get a better job, they can go on and continue with their education," Taylor said as she asked the commission to note the program's local impact.
