Tompkins Cortland Community College’s 2025–26 operating budget was adopted unanimously by the Tompkins County Legislature on July 15.
Legislator Mike Lane introduced the resolution and noted previous presentations and revisions by the college. Public comment at the earlier budget hearing included statements from Dennis Panaguitas, identified as Tompkins Cortland Community College’s chief financial officer, who thanked Tompkins County for continued support, and from TC3 President Amy Kremenek, who joined virtually and echoed that appreciation.
During legislative consideration, Lane said the proposed budget “does not have changes in the general operating funds, for either county,” and that Cortland County was expected to pass its portion without difficulty. The clerk called a roll-call vote; the resolution passed 13–0.
No additional conditions, amendments, or budget transfers were reported in the meeting; legislators expressed thanks to the TC3 team for their work on the budget.
