Robin said the district experienced illness across the district but only West Plains Junior High reached the required 10‑percentage‑point drop for multiple days.
The board approved the administration’s recommendation to file waivers (motion by Laurie Gilliland; second by Catherine Wiegand) by a 6‑0 vote.
Staff presented the waivers as administrative requests for TEA action; trustees approved staff filing the waivers but did not take other policy actions during the item.
