Staff told the board the amended budget was first approved in September 2024 and subsequently reviewed by Miami‑Dade County, which requested two changes: add projected interest earnings on the revenue side and add a professional services line for design costs on the expenditure side. Staff said the amended budget remains balanced and asked the board to approve it. There were no public comments; staff noted this item was not a public hearing. The assistant city manager also said the item will appear on the city council consent agenda because council approval is required as well. The board moved to approve the budget amendment and the clerk recorded a unanimous 6-0 vote.
