The Miami Gardens Community Redevelopment Agency voted 6-0 July 9 to accept the agency's fiscal year 2024 audit as certified by its external auditor, Assistant City Manager staff told the board. The audit, prepared by Anthony Brunson, P.A., found the CRA complied with requirements of the Florida Statutes for the period Oct. 2023 through Sept. 2024, the assistant city manager said. The board moved to accept the report and the motion passed without dissent. Board members did not hear public comments on the audit. The clerk conducted a roll call and the chair announced the motion passed 6-0. The acceptance completes the CRA’s annual audit review for FY2024; the report and certification were provided to the board during the July 9 meeting as part of agenda item 8.1.
