The board approved assignment of multiple tax-sale certificates and accepted compromise offers of $500 per parcel as requested by the applicants.
Locations and next steps Staff said the parcels are off Anderson Street, southwest of Newton and Idaho; the applicants indicated they have not yet contacted the city regarding street extension work that might be needed before building. The assignments and compromise terms were approved by resolution and will be processed by the treasurer’s office.
Ending County staff will file assignments and work with the applicants on next steps; the board noted the approvals are for the first phases of the applicants’ acquisition plan.
