The City Council accepted a bill of sale and took ownership of the sewer lift station and associated infrastructure installed for the Sunrise Estates development.
City Attorney Carey told council the developer constructed the lift station and underground sewer facilities, staff has inspected the work and verified the system is functioning, and the city holds a maintenance bond. "We are ready to take ownership of the lift station," Carey said.
Council action: Councilmember Frampus moved to accept the dedication; Councilmember Volz seconded. The resolution (2025‑08) passed 7‑0.
Practical note: The city will assume maintenance responsibility for the lift station and will place the asset on the city’s utility maintenance schedule. Staff will record the bill of sale and update asset and maintenance records.
