CPC begins work on a five-year plan and outreach to town committees

Committee members said an initial step is for each CPC member to ask the committees they represent to add an agenda item on CPA priorities and possible projects. The chair said she will send a single general email to department heads and committees asking for projects and for committees to indicate whether a CPC member should attend a meeting to answer questions. "If they have any projects now or in the future, please let us know," the chair said. The committee discussed creating a list at the next meeting and divvying outreach responsibilities among members so that CPC has sustained contact with other standing committees.
Members suggested the consultant support the committee in keeping an up-to-date five-year plan and that the committee should add a simple process to the CPC handbook to clarify expectations about signage and applicant responsibilities going forward. The committee set a near-term task to compile committee returns and present a draft plan and outreach assignments at the next CPC meeting.
