City schedules joint work session July 21 on text amendment; staff to meet with township on orderly annexation

Sarah John also said staff will continue meetings with the township to discuss an orderly annexation. No ordinance or formal annexation action was taken at the July 15 council meeting; the item is in the review and drafting stage and will proceed through the Planning Commission public‑hearing process as appropriate.
