Staff suggested paying a half-day stipend (typically $75–$100 per half day, per current practice) and noted the district could offer $75 for orientation participation plus the 10% fee to the payroll/service vendor. The board did not take a formal vote on a program launch but asked staff to continue planning and to finalize dates and costs.
