The Green Bay Board of Education conducted a brief special meeting July 14 to take two personnel actions. In an electronically recorded vote the board approved the presented employment of staff and separately approved the presented resignations.
A motion to approve the employment recommendations was read, seconded and carried with the board recording “all board members voting in favor.” A subsequent motion to accept the resignations was also read, seconded and carried by an electronic vote recorded as unanimous.
The special meeting then adjourned and the board reconvened in the scheduled work session. The board did not identify the individual hires or resignations on the public record at that time; the clerk recorded the roll call and the vote outcomes.
