Board approves three executive-director appointments, including interim administrative director

The Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools Board of Directors unanimously approved three administrative appointments at the meeting. Superintendent Dr. Thomas introduced Dr. Tim Anderson as the district’s new executive director of academic services, noting Anderson had begun his role on or about July 1. Dr. Thomas welcomed Lisa Bridal as the new executive director of business services and described her background in school business leadership and auditing. Michael Knutson, previously assistant/assistant director of administrative services, was approved as interim executive director of administrative services while the district conducts a full search for a permanent director. The motion to approve the appointments was moved by Director Bullion and seconded by Director France and carried 7-0. Dr. Thomas said the new leaders join the district at a time of active planning and transition and thanked Knutson for stepping into the interim role while the search proceeds.
